To be fair, there are some guys who are afraid of bulking as well, I’m not picking on girls, they just seem to be the majority when it comes to this myth. I’m not entirely sure where this mindset comes from when people are afraid to lift weights, because they don’t want to be “bulky”. I assure you, you’ll have a lot of time to adjust as you go, before you bulk up. It definitely doesn’t happen overnight, I can give you a bunch of references that will confirm this if you want :).

Lifting weights is an important part of losing weight and being fit. Cardio just isn’t going to do it. There are different ways to lift weights and get different results. It all depends on the body you’re trying to achieve. Don’t fear the barbell, embrace it…. embrace the mindset!
