🍩 Overeating is something that majority of us will do every now & again we all have social times in life when food is a big focus & these times should be enjoyed & so long as you get right back on plan after then you my friends are golden.

🥞However regular non controlled overeating episodes will affect weight loss progress & on a truly more serious note if you are experiencing these then it is super important you figure out work out why its happening & you maybe you need seek help if you can’t deal with it alone.

🍪Trigger foods are you able to have a small slice of cake enjoy it & then stop Don’t fib to yourself if you can’t then seriously stay away!! ❌This is one of the few situations that I suggest cutting a food group out

🐒Having time to chill out is important but boredom or having too much time on your hands can lead to picking at food so busy yourself

💥Extreme dieting is not sustainable for long term success It will leave you miserable. Way more likely to have episodes of overeating . May leave you with squiffed relationship with food

🚲Going to long in between meals your judgement maybe impaired,get to know your body so you can ensure this doesn’t lead to an overeat.Maybe carry a snack 🤷🏼‍♀️

🌸Motivation is a flighty thing, that’s why it’s important to build habits to ensure that when the motivation falters you still have the power to not fall part. Build up meal habits & try to identify the situation or emotion that leads to the overeating. Then do something else when this emotion/ situation arises.

⭕️Set your environment for success.Clear cupboards of temptress foods, surround your self with supportive people.

💁🏼‍♀️The vicious circle of using food as a reward & punishment. Food is fuel for & using its as a rewards won’t lead to a healthy food relationship.

💥 Emotions are powerful but it’s important not to let them be your driver. If we all purely lived life on what are emotions were dictating there would be a lot of out of control people. Learn to identity & reason with yourself not just immediately
