🏋️My intend with this post is to create awareness for the different focus that you need to have when building muscle and when losing fat. Because there are huge differences.

💪For examples, strength training should be your main focus when trying to build muscle. Because if you’re eating in a calorie surplus but you’re not training, you’ll end up fat. Therefore training should be your main priority.

🔥Yes, nutrition is important in both instances, but when losing fat, nutrition is the main focus, we use strength training as a tool to create a bigger deficit and to build a little muscle. Cardio should only be used as a tool to create a bigger deficit. It should NEVER be your main focus, unless you’re trying to run a marathon. Then you better run.
