HOT TO BURN FAT VIA INTERMITTENT FASTING (IF)

While there are several diets out there that can be effective if they put you into a caloric deficit, and the most important factor is how sustainable and enjoyable it is for you personally, my own favorite method is IF

It’s not magical. It works primarily through restricting the amount of time that you have to eat during a day, which naturally cuts down on your calorie intake and can even eliminate the need for counting calories (though that can be an effective way to start IF to get a feel for how much you consume)

The 16-8 method includes a 16 hour fasting window and an 8 hour eating window. Essentially, you will be asleep for a large part of the fasting and then will need to make it through the morning without eating. That is the hardest part, but if you’re busy anyways it’s not too bad. And you can have drinks like water, coffee, seltzer waters, and coffee to curb hunger. Oh, and did I mention coffee😉

Then you enter the eating window from 12-8 where you can enjoy filling, satisfying meals that make you feel like you’re not even dieting. Make sure they are usually nutrient-rich and that you are getting enough protein in

Then, after 8 PM, you have a few hours until bedtime where you aren’t hungry at all and can still drink any zero cal liquids that you want

There is still research being done about IF, and it seems to burn fat very similarly to other iso-caloric diets, but I think mentally for many it can feel less daunting because you feel satisfied for most of the day with larger meals. There also appear to be some added benefits of increased cellular repair, increased HGH, and increased insulin sensitivity
