Hearts & tummies are full!

These clean eating bars have been a huge hit at our house. You can literally SEE all the goodness in them! The best part is that all the ingredients get thrown into the food processor and it’s a no bake recipe which is a plus for me since I have a minor reputation for burning goodies from time to time! These bars are sweet, chewy and extremely versatile (you can add in coconut flakes/raisins/chocolate chips ect) ! Recipe below 馃憞馃徎
.
.
.
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup hemp seeds
1/2 cup chia seeds
1/3 cup coconut oil- melted
1 cup pitted dates
1/4 cup real maple syrup ( or 1 ripe banana)
Pinch of salt
1 tsp cinnamon
.
.
Put dates and into food processor and pulse until forms a ball. Add all other ingredients except coconut oil and blend on high then add coconut oil. Blend on high until ball forms. Take dough and place into parchment paper use another piece of parchment to flatten then score your bars or use cookie cutters to form shapes. Put scored bars into freezer for 20 minutes then break apart and store into ziplock bags in freezer until ready to eat! These stay super chewy! 馃憣馃徏
