HEALTHY BUDDHA BOWLS ✌🏻 Yum! I ate this Buddha bowl while out for dinner the other day! Buddha bowls are great for making sure you are eating a varied diet and can significantly ⬆️ your veggie intake!
🍃 Start with leafy green base
🥕 add your favourite vegetables 🍞 add you favourite grain 🥑 a healthy fat 🥚 a source of protein 🎉 and then add some flavour!

To ensure your buddha bowl is a healthy bowl 🍲 – Load it up with veggies and leafy greens and opt for smaller portions of grains and protein – Be mindful of how you are cooking the various aspects of your bowl- e.g will you be baking your vegetables with olive oil and therefore don’t need an extra source of fat – Use it as an opportunity to eat more of something you don’t eat as much of during the week e.g. fish or legumes – For flavour add herbs and spices or make your own salad dressing – Opt for grains that are high in fibre such a brown rice – Add a small handful of nuts or seeds for extra crunch and nutrition
