I’m often asked by my friends if you SHOULD eat #healthy while traveling. I️t’s a common predicament that #fit enthusiast and #health conscious struggle with. Here are some common concerns that you might relate to:
You worry the local restaurants don’t have any healthy options.
More so, emotionally, you’re afraid of the possibility that you’ll overeat, gain weight, and feel guilty about what you ate for the rest of the trip.

SUGGESTIONS:
1. View Eating Out As A Pleasurable Experience
a) 🔹 Most often times, fit and health enthusiasts are stressed, anxious 😫and feel threatened that eating out will ruin their progress and goals. This mindset reinforces why they can’t eat out and why you need control over every meal. #FoodForThought
b) 🔸Instead, view eating out as a fun and pleasurable experience because you’ll feel calm, confident, safe, and positive about eating out. Food isn’t the threat. It’s your mindset and rigid habits that either can free or limit you.
c) 🔹#FoodPsychologyTips : Before you eat, envision how you’ll feel after the meal (happy, satisfied, no regrets) while practicing a no-guilt policy when eating. This skill takes time, but overtime you’ll enjoy eating anything you want without guilt and shame.
2. Eat More Protein Meals
a) 🍴It seems counterintuitive, however when you’re traveling your meals are spread out farther so eating more protein will keep your hunger tamed for longer periods of time.
b) 🥄 When you eat salads and veggies 🥒🥕at restaurants, the issue is the quantity and quality of the salad. Most times it won’t fill you up. You’ll feel ripped off physically and financially. #HANGRY
c) 🍽 When I️ order out, I️ chose the local and fresh options of 🍤 seafood and meats
