People (especially those who are selling nutrition plans and books) like to claim that their diet is the best diet, and that it is the only one that will give you the results you want. However, the truth is that there’s not the best diet. 👇

To make it simple: the diet you should stick to is the one you can do for rest of your life. When trying to lose weight, what matters the most is that you are in calorie deficit. You should also try to make sure that you eat enough protein if you want to preserve your muscle, but that’s it. 👍

That said, it doesn’t matter whether you’re doing keto, paleo, iifym, vegan, low carb… Simply stick to a diet that suits you the best. For instance, if you often feel cravings for carbs, why would you go on low-carb when there is IIFYM, high-carb, etc. that will still give you the results, but it will be easier for you to stick to it. 🍉

If you choose the diet you cannot follow for rest of your life, you’ll find yourself cheating quite often and it will hinder your progress in the long run. Of course, you are supposed to eat healthy and try to incorporate as much micronutrients (fruits and veggies) as possible, but do not avoid certain foods just because someone once said that only this diet will give results. 🍏
