After listening to some podcasts & doing some of my own research I decided upon going high fat (healthy fats) low carb!! If you haven’t heard of keto,
Ketogenic diet: a lifestyle that tends to promote the metabolic formation of ketone bodies by causing the body to use fat (rather than carbohydrate) as its principal energy source.
I have seen all kinds benefits people have found with switching over to a ketogenic lifestyle.
lower blood sugar, weight loss, resetting the metabolism, brain function, endurance performance, migraines, acne, debloating, lowering inflammation! (There’s so many others)
I gave it a try once but pretty much half assed it.
I’m ready to try it full force in order to hopefully:
•sustain stable energy
•improve performance
•decrease inflammation
•lose fat while not sacrificing muscle & possibly gain more muscle.
I am so excited to see if this energy people speak of is real.. haha
PLUS avocados. 🥑
